Children's activities and entertainment
Lakeside Holiday Park is the ideal destination for families looking for a holiday park with a wide range of children’s activities and entertainment. From adventure play areas and a games arcade to sports activities in our Multi-Use Games Area, to fun and games, parties and even art opportunities in our entertainment complex, there’s something for kids of all ages and abilities. Motorhome and caravan tourers or those caravanners who are staying on seasonal pitches can enjoy full access to the children’s activities, entertainment and facilities at Lakeside, ensuring a happy and active stay for all the family.

Children's entertainment
There’s plenty of entertainment for children at Lakeside. Every Friday and Saturday evening during the season they can enjoy Fun & Games, activities, party dancing and music in Oscar’s bar at the Waterfront (or in Monty’s on summer holiday Saturdays). During the school holidays the fun is extended to every night except non-Bank Holiday Mondays. There are also children’s entertainers on Wednesdays, plus Bank Holiday Saturdays and Sundays, in Monty’s restaurant. On Wednesday afternoons during children’s holidays, The Art Room is open for free-of-charge for arts and crafts (adults must attend too). There are children’s parties at Easter, Halloween weekends and Christmas, too. These are supervised but adults are required to be responsible for their children.

Kids love playing outdoors – and the amazing outdoor spaces and playgrounds at Lakeside offer plenty of chances to enjoy fun times. Softpore surfaces around playground equipment will keep your little ones safe. The Buccaneer Tower is a structure where imaginations can run wild and children can swashbuckle! All outdoor spaces and playground facilities are available at Lakeside.

Arcades and games
Fun and games are the order of the day in our onsite arcade, open during weekends and children’s holidays as well as over Bank Holiday weekends. With a selection of video games and slot machines available on a pay-to-play basis, this is the place to test yourself or take on someone else. There are also activity-based games like air hockey available to play. All facilities are available to visitors to Lakeside Park.

Child-friendly sports
Children visiting Lakeside’s Multi-Use Games Area can enjoy a variety of indoor and outdoor sports, just like the adults – whether it’s tennis, padel tennis, or table tennis, as well as snooker, basketball, and football. While these activities are unsupervised, we kindly ask that adults remain responsible for their children and ensure they are not left unattended.
On most Friday and Saturday evenings Lakeside offers children’s entertainment in Oscar’s at the Waterfront Club. This is also available over Bank Holidays and during school holidays through the year. On Wednesday afternoons during children’s holidays The Art Room is open, free-of-charge.
Yes, they can! Though there aren’t any dedicated sports clubs or groups for young ones to take part in, they are more than welcome to join adults to play tennis, padel tennis, table tennis or snooker, basketball and football.
There are video games and ‘slot machines’ in the arcade, as well as physical table games such as air hockey. Plenty of entertainment for the kids to enjoy.
