Lakeside Park dog-friendly holiday park
Don’t worry about bringing your four-legged friend to Lakeside holiday park – we’re a dog-friendly park, with dogs welcome in all outdoor spaces including the patio and under-canopy areas, plus the new dog-area at the back of the coffee shop. There’s even dog ice cream available to buy from the Waterfront club. With plenty of facilities including a dog-friendly dining lodge and dog showers so you can clean up your canine, plus pleasant walks you can take them on and convenient poo bins all over the park, Lakeside is a true dog-friendly holiday park.
DOG WALKS Dedicated walking spaces
Dogs and their owners can enjoy the designated 630m on-park dog walk, accessed at the entrance to the touring field. The commercial woodland area, Warren Woods, is owned by Lakeside, and you can explore its 50 square acres by turning right out of the holiday park and entering from the main road. We’ll even provide a map to show the route and access points. We kindly ask that you keep your dog on a lead at all times while in the park.
SHOWER COMPLEX Dog wash facilities Keeping your dog clean and tidy often means giving them a shower after a muddy walk, and at Lakeside we’re pleased to offer this facility to residents who are dog owners. The warm water dog-wash shower is available 24 hours a day at the touring shower block. You can access it from the right hand side of the building (i.e. around the corner as you look at the main entrance doors).
PRIVATE Outside summer house
There’s a dog-friendly garden dining room located on the grass near the lake, opposite the Sportsman’s patio. This is great for enjoying food purchased from the Waterfront club, and can be booked out for free, with time slots available. There are comfortable beanbags provided on the floor for dogs.
There is a small fee per dog when staying at Lakeside Park (fee not required for seasonal pitches).
Please note, there is a maximum of two dogs allowed per pitch.
While dogs aren’t permitted inside the main facilities at Lakeside Park, there’s an alfresco garden room where you can dine with your pets. Remember to book in advance to avoid disappointment.

For the comfort and safety of all guests, we ask that dogs remain on a lead at all times while in the park. However, there are plenty of great walking opportunities, including the designated 630m on-park dog walk and the expansive Warren Woods just outside the park, where you and your four-legged friend can enjoy a scenic stroll together.
