We’re delighted to announce that Lakeside Park has been awarded an impressive 95% quality score and a prestigious Gold Award Five-Star Rating following a recent assessment by VisitEngland, the official tourist board of England.

In its report, VisitEngland described Lakeside Park as:

As our flagship park in North Somercotes near Louth, Lakeside Park has benefited from continuous investment to enhance its facilities and maintain the high standards our guests expect. This dedication was recognised by VisitEngland during their inspection, with key improvements highlighted in their report, including:

• The installation of a padel tennis court – one of only two at holiday parks in Lincolnshire.
• The retarmacking of the park’s entrance road, complete with new speed bumps.
• The completion of the children’s sandpit, offering more play opportunities for families.
• Enhancements to The Waterfront Club, creating additional space for guests to relax and socialise.

To achieve VisitEngland’s Five-Star Rating, parks must demonstrate exceptional quality across a range of services and facilities. Lakeside Park not only met but exceeded these expectations, earning praise for its tranquil setting, excellent facilities, and friendly, professional staff.

VisitEngland’s assessment covers multiple categories, including Cleanliness, Park Grounds, Pitches, Recreation, Sport & Leisure, and more. During their May 2024 visit, Lakeside Park achieved 5-star ratings in nearly all areas, with an incredible 100% score in the Toilet & Washing Facilities category!
